Location

New Pacific Studio is located in Vallejo, Ca.

Midway between San Francisco and Sacramento, Vallejo is one of the oldest cities in the northern California San Francisco Bay Area, with a fine downtown architectural heritage. It was also the first permanent home of California's state government before it moved to Sacramento.

It is located at the northern tip of San Pablo Bay, about 20 mins by car from Berkeley or the Napa and Sonoma wine districts, 40 mins to UC Davis, and 50 minutes by catamaran to the San Francisco Ferry Building.

There's a Farmers' Market on Saturday morning, an excellent public library and rare books collection (www.mccunecollection.org) and a local museum for naval crafts history.
